Energy saving potential of the independent dosing fluid supply system

Electro-hydraulic proportional control valves are widely used for motion control in electro-hydraulic fluid systems. Usually, a spool is used in the proportional control valve to control the flow direction and flow rate through the valve, which mechanically connects the inlet and outlet ports. The spool makes the system robust and easy to control, but there are many losses in this type of valve. Therefore, the traditional electro-hydraulic proportional control valve provides precise motion control but cannot achieve energy saving.
