One of the most important problems in electric vehicles is maintaining good climate conditions to ensure thermal comfort in the passenger compartment and to ensure optimal performance of the batteries. In this paper, the influence of the electric air conditioning system on the power consumption of a lithium-ion battery was studied. The model of the air conditioning system was developed based on the thermal load variations caused by the outside temperature. To optimize the autonomous efficiency of the batteries, a thermal management system must be installed. The model was coded and simulated on the Matlab/Simulink platform.
